Acupuncture Saves Little Girl from Eczema

After all other forms of treatment had failed, Ricardo Miranda, L.Ac.cured a little girl of eczema.

“Eczema is a skin condition, she was covered from head to toe with rashes. Whole arms and face,” said Miranda. Her mother already had her on a perfect diet and had eliminated everything inflammatory from her diet, no gluten, eggs, fish, etc.”

“So I reduced the supplements and based on her genetic profile, especially her MTHFR mutation, because this gene governs intercellular detoxification,” he says. “We realized its not enough, so we started acupuncture on her, and she started improving.”

When Miranda became an Acupuncturist 21 years ago, he joined a profession that is at least 3000 years old. But through genetic analysis, he puts a modern slant on it.

“MTHFR is arguably the most important of all the genes in our body because it provides the most important fuel for methylation to occur,” Miranda says. “Methylation is the process that regulates the expressions of all other genes turning them on or off and MTHFR is the gene that turns the methylation process on.

“As of 2015, there have been more than 4,500 researches studying the MTHFR gene and how its been connected with many chronic conditions including cancer, multiple sclerosis, digestive problems, infertility, blood sugar issues, thyroid issues, anxiety and the list goes on. But biology is not destiny, and Acupuncture can turn the engine off,” he says.
