Cory Booker, D-N.J., and John Cornyn, R-Texas. Its enactment would ensure that children, no matter where they live, have access to the nutrition they desperately need over the summer.<\/p>\n<p>I wholeheartedly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.booker.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/booker_cornyn_reintroduce_bipartisan_legislation_to_expand_school_nutrition_education1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">applaud Sen. Booker for his leadership<\/a> in championing solutions for child hunger, which the pandemic has hugely exacerbated. Through my job at Save the Children \u2014 where we work tirelessly to end child hunger \u2014 I know the significant impact this legislation would have.<\/p>\n<p>Being a registered dietitian with a master\u2019s degree in public health, I know the vital role nutrition plays in children\u2019s growth, development and ultimate success in life.
