Extraverts thrived on high-intensity workouts, while conscientious individuals showed the most well-rounded fitness, driven more by health benefits than enjoyment. Those high in neuroticism preferred independent exercise sessions and saw the biggest reduction in stress, especially when workouts allowed for privacy and breaks. Interestingly, the most \u201copen\u201d participants were less motivated by intense exercise but most curious to retest their progress.
