{"id":690,"date":"2018-03-26T02:36:00","date_gmt":"2018-03-26T02:36:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/alternativemedicine.today\/?p=690"},"modified":"2018-04-04T02:43:07","modified_gmt":"2018-04-04T02:43:07","slug":"skin-rejuvenating-bee-acupuncture-may-prove-deadly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alternativemedicine.today\/?p=690","title":{"rendered":"Skin-rejuvenating Bee Acupuncture May Prove Deadly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A medical journal has recently raised safety concerns regarding apitherapy, a type of alternative medicine that uses various honey bee products, such as honey, propolis, royal jelly, or even venom.<\/p>\n<p>Bee sting acupuncture, which is a form of apitherapy, involves a therapist holding a honey bee by its head and pinching it until the bee&#8217;s stinger emerges and punctures the patient&#8217;s skin.
