Exercise Study Targets Endometriosis Symptom Relief

A new Charles Sturt University study is exploring how exercise could ease symptoms of endometriosis. Led by Dr Tegan Hartmann, a Senior Lecturer in Exercise Science at the university’s School of Allied Health, Exercise and Sport Sciences, the 12‑week program examines how activities such as walking and yoga might improve pain, fatigue, and overall quality of life.

Dr Hartmann’s research builds on previous findings suggesting that exercise duration can influence endometriosis symptoms and related health biomarkers. The project aims to create accessible, evidence‑based options for those with limited access to specialist care.

Researchers are seeking 50 participants diagnosed with endometriosis. More details are available in the original Charles Sturt University article.
